Women's World Cup Football 2007 Schedule/Fixture

Women’s World Cup 2007 football tournament is going to be started from 10 September 2007 in China. China was supposed to the host of 2003 Women’s world cup but unfortunately the tournament was shifted to USA because of severe outbreak of SARS virus in China that time. So, China was the automatic choice for 2007 Women’s world cup. Germany is the defending champion as they won the women’s world cup for the first time in 2003 defeating Sweden in the final.

Now, ahead of the Fifa Women’s World Cup 2007, all the 16 participating countries are busy with their last minute preparation. Sixteen teams will be playing in four groups of four teams. From each group top two participating countries will enter into the quarter final. Four winners from quarter final stage will get the ticket of semi final stage. Winners of the semi final stage will be playing in the final of Women’s soccer world cup 2007.

Present champion Germany, USA, Sweden, Norway, Brazil and China are the strong contenders for the tournament. I think the tournament will bring a huge excitement among the soccer fans of the world. Here, I am giving the full schedule of the Women’s world cup 2007 below:
