EPL 2007-08: List of all the Managers

Mangers play perhaps the most important role behind the success of any football club. That is why when a team performs badly, the manager loses the job so easily. It happens all the time. English Premier League is a very competitive and challenging place to be. Here, you have to deliver success or lose your job. It happens all the time.

The funny part is that we have some managers in Premier League who could keep their jobs for many years. Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger is in his post since September 1996. Can you believe it? You better believe it as Manchester United’s manager Sir Alex Ferguson is in his job since 1986. Well, not every manager is so lucky.

Here, I am giving you the names of all the managers in Premier League.

Arsenal: Arsene Wenger (1996)

Aston Villa: Martin O'Neill (2006)

Birmingham: Steve Bruce (2001)

Blackburn Rovers: Mark Hughes (2004)

Bolton Wanders: Sammy Lee (2007)

Chelsea: Jose Mourinho (2004)

Derby: Billy Davies (2006)

Everton: David Moyes (2002)

Fulham: Lawrie Sanchez (2007)

Liverpool: Rafael Benitez (2004)

Manchester City: Sven-Goran Eriksson (2007)

Manchester United: Sir Alex Ferguson (1986)

Middlesbrough: Gareth Southgate (2006)

Newcatsle: Sam Allardyce (2007)

Portsmouth: Harry Redknapp (2005)

Reading: Steve Coppell (2003)

Sunderland: Roy Keane (2006)

Tottenham Hotspur: Martin Jol (2004)

West Ham: Alan Curbishley (2006)

Wigan Athletic: Chris Hutchings (2007)

So, you can see that most of the managers are new and most of them have taken the job in the last 2-3 years. That means that the clubs fired their earlier managers or those managers resigned from their posts.
