Anya Watkins: Miss Bahamas World 2007

Last month, I wrote couple of entries about Miss Bahamas World beauty pageant. I was so busy with covering other things that I forgot to write about the winner of Miss Bahamas World 2007- Anya Watkins. Anya Watkins will represent Bahamas in Miss World 2007 which will be held in December 2007 in China. The contestant took place on 22 July 2007.

Two other titles were awarded on the evening to the 1st and 2nd runners up – they were Miss Bahamas Tourism Queen and Miss Bahamas Intercontinental, respectively. They will go on to compete in these titled international competitions – representing the Bahamas.

The girls were very well prepared, showing poise, elegance and intelligence throughout the evening.

You know that Bahamas is a popular traveling destination. I wonder whether Anya Watkins would try to portray her country’s beauty to the world in the final of Miss World 2007 pageant.

Anya Watkins is 5 feet 7 inches tall and thus she has good height. She is 21 years old and she has brown eyes and brown hair. She is fond of swimming. She also loves to cook and read. Anya Watkins also wants to be a top business person in her country. She wants to meet Oprah someday.
