The Masters Golf Tournament 2007 Involves 18 First Timers

Ahead of the first major golf tournament, The Masters Golf Tournament 2007, of 2007 is going to field at the traditional Augusta National Golf Club from April 5 to 8. In the tournament 107 golfers were invited and it is expected that 97 golfers across the world will take part in this prestigious tournament. Among the participants 18 will appear in the tournament for the first time. United Press International reported:

The field includes five amateurs and 18 Masters rookies. Those first-timers are Bradley Dredge, Johan Edfors, Kenneth Ferrie, British Amateur champ Julien Guerrier, J.J. Henry, Robert Karlsson, U.S. Amateur runner-up John Kelly, Troy Matteson, Brett Quigley, U.S. Amateur winner Richie Ramsay, Jeev Milkha Singh, Tanihara, Camilo Villegas, U.S. Amateur Public Links champ Casey Watabu, Brett Wetterich, Dean Wilson, U.S. Mid-Amateur champion Dave Womack and Yong-Eun Yang.

So, you may think that the tournament would not be as competitive as it should be considering the 18 first timers. However, I would like to make you concern that they have been invited due to having the potential. So, I think the tournament will have a lot of excitement for the golf fans.
