Can Obama get some Hollywood Cash?

Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton have good relationship with Hollywood and many rich Hollywood celebrities are expected to pour some cash to the campaign of Hilary Clinton in the coming days. However, it seems that Obama will not let Hilary Clinton go away so easily with Hollywood cash. He is trying to get some cash from Hollywood too.

Clarion-Ledger reported:

Hollywood has been a cash-spewing ATM for Sen. Hillary Clinton, but Sen. Barack Obama may challenge her top billing when it comes to Tinseltown cash.

Powerhouse agent Ari Emanuel, whose client stable includes A-listers like Michael Douglas, Martin Scorsese, Larry David and Paris Hilton, is set to throw a sure-to-be-star-studded bash for Obama, D-Ill., next month.

A spokesman for the Endeavor agency head confirmed Emanuel "will be doing some sort of event (for Obama) in February."

DreamWorks SKG moguls Steven Spielberg and David Geffen, along with activist actors George Clooney and Barbra Streisand, each forked over $2,000 to Obama's 2004 Senate campaign, according to Newsmeat.com, a Web site that tracks celeb contributions.

Can Barack Obama give Hilary Clinton a run for money in Hollywood? Let us wait and see.
