Christine Sinclair should be near the top of this list. I'm sure whoever made this list is an American. v.v

I think Marta is really the best. She brings the same techniques that the men use in their game. I think Mia Hamm is good as well, but Marta is just a different class altogether.
I've played my whole life and I know what I'm talking about. I know things from the Busby Babes days to Pep Guardiola's Barca and Johan's Total Football. There are so many things to do in a game (tricks, different shots/passes and thinking). For me, Marta is the best at all these things. She should def be on here!!
I'm going to be better than her one day. I'm going to be the best in the world. One day soon, I'll be the top spot on this list.

Christine Sinclair is a good finisher, but I disagree about her being on the list. Marta should be. That is an outrage!

I also agree with 'anonymous' about Marta, she is really good and should be on here!
Birgit Prinz has won the UEFA Women's Championship 5 times and the world cup in 2003 & 2007. Hello!?! None of these people on this list have achieved that.

marta may be a good player but she is a horrible person and teammate is is completely unsportsmanlike and arrogant so even though she may technically be the best player she is an awful role model for girls who play soccer and should absolutely be considered the best all-around player or called the best player because it puts women's soccer in a negative light. mia hamm is definitely the best ever and abby wombach is a great player with a great personality and huge drive to win and let's not forget about hope solo who is amazing and also is a great person who is a perfect role model for girls who play soccer! this list is good and marta SHOULD NOT be on it!

Just to waist time and once the took her off the field with the thing that
Can carry people she jumped right off of it and started to run like nothing ever happened I hate hate hate her and who ever likes her must be blind. And she is the worst roll model a girl could ever have. =[

Interesting how Canada's Christine Sinclair always gets overlooked in this discussion. Probably one of the most well rounded women's football players in the game today, and she is only 28! Before her career is over she will easily surpass Mia Hamm's 158 international goals.

Christine Sinclaire is pretty damn good. She scores at will and is a very clutch goal scorer. until she breaks Mia Hamm's records though you have to give it to Mia.
