Rugby World Cup 2007: Schedule of Wales

Wales was the third place winner of 1987 rugby world cup. However, in the later world cup tournament they could not make any other semi final appearance. So, Wales fans are definitely not so happy with the performance of Wales rugby team. However, Wales is still one of the top ten ranked rugby playing nations in world ranking. In the last world cup in 2003, Wales lost to the eventual champion England at the quarter final stage. To tell the truth their performance was not bad. However, Wales still is a middle category team in the rugby world cup.

In the upcoming rugby world cup 2007, Wales will be playing in Pool B along with two times champion Australia, Canada, Fiji and Japan. Apparently, Australia and Wales are most favorites to qualify for the next round. However, it is also true that Canada and Fiji will try to resist Wales in order to achieve the second place in the pool. So, anything less than quarter final appearance will be considered as a failure of Wales. In the quarter final stage Wales may face England or South Africa. . Here, I am giving the full pool stage schedule of Wales below:
