New Zealand is all time favorite in any big rugby world cup tournament. They are again one of the most favorites in the ongoing Rugby world cup 2007. Rugby world cup 2007. This is the sixth rugby world cup. New Zealand has won their first and till only rugby world cup title in the first Rugby world cup tournament in 1987. After that 20 years have gone and four rugby world cup tournaments have also gone away. However, New Zealand has not won their second rugby world cup title yet.
So, winning another Rugby world cup has become a national demand. To tell the truth, New Zealand played well in all of the Rugby world cup tournaments. They have not missed their semi final appearances in any Rugby world cup tournaments. So, the thing is that, New Zealand is always favorite; New Zealand always plays well; New Zealand has become an automatic semi finalist; but they are not the winner. It is really very hard to believe that the best team in the world can not win the Rugby world cup.
To many, the reason is intense pressure on the All Blacks (New Zealand) which affects their natural game. The ever growing expectation and continuous failures to win another world cup title create an immense pressure on the side which resulted in another failure. So, it is important for New Zealand to feel no pressure and play their game. Now, let us see if they can do it this time.
