For millions of people in the world, procrastination is a serious problem. For many of them, it is the most important or destructive and dangerous problem in life for them. It hinders their improvement in life. It also keeps them behind. It also is the main root cause for their frustration failure. That is the common problem for many people in the world. I am going to discuss some tips for overcoming the procrastination problem in you.
You have to want it
We all want a peaceful and comfortable life. Laziness is something that most people enjoy. We dream that we will earn enough money and we will do less work. We will enjoy more. We will go on travel holidays. We will have a lot of fun and enjoyment. We will be enjoying our entertainment. Many people simply love to watch movies or spend time in Facebook and YouTube videos. This is common for many millions of people around the world, not just you and I.
If you want to get rid of your procrastination, the first thing you have to do is talk to yourself. You have to want it deeply and desperately. You have to try to convince yourself. No matter how many self-improvement books you read or motivational videos you watch, it will be useless if you do not want it from your heart. You have to really want it.
Most people's problem is that they don't want it from their heart and they expect that watching a motivational video will change their lives. It simply will not happen.
Take small steps and Goals
I have suffered from this problem a lot. My problem is really strange. What happened to me is that I became expert in trying for others. I was a very successful platform maker but when it comes to working for myself, for my own career or benefit, then I got stuck. I felt that I was doing a lot of procrastination. I could not move forward and that has been like a curse for me.
A few weeks ago I started to change myself. What I noticed was that if I took very big plans and ambitious courses, I couldn't fulfill them and I even got back to procrastination even more. So I decided that I would take small steps and set small goals that I could achieve very easily.
Practice a Lot
I am a very big fan of football or soccer. You see football players they play on field for 90 minutes and another extra 10 minutes. So they play for 100 minutes and with the half time break it becomes like 2 hours or 120 minutes but they practice a lot they practice almost every day they practice like three four hours every day just to keep up in shape shape so you and I we do not see their actual practice which they do in their gymnasium and also in their practice field.
I suggest that if possible you watch the movie Rocky and the main actor of that of that movie series is Sylvester Stallone. In each part of the movie, you will see that the hero is practicing a lot and most of the time he is practicing in an unconventional method. However, he is spending 4-5 hours every day practicing, and that is the main secret behind his success.
It takes time to become successful
Please remember that it takes a lot of time to become successful in anything. I have a theory that if you want to change yourself, then try for it for 100 days. It's not that you will become successful within 100 days, but what will happen is that you will become or develop a new habit which will lead you towards success in this field.
For example, I have started writing seriously. I am now trying to write every day for 100 days. If I can continue this, then what will happen is that after 100 days, I will write at least 50,000 to 100,000 words. That is a lot of words. If I can do it, then I become a much better and developed writer within just 100 days.
Why do you want to change?
I think that this is the most important question that you have to ask yourself: "Do you really need to change?" Why do you want to change? You have to find your own answer. For me, it's like I want to change because I want to become successful in writing. This was my dream; I want to fulfill my dream at this age. I've been out of writing for the last 10 years now. I want to do something, and that's why I want to change. I want to end my procrastination.
Learn to Celebrate small achievements
I have reached towards the end of this post. I am very happy that it has become almost like 1000 words. It's a small achievement for me but I must learn to celebrate. I must congratulate myself for being able to write a post of 1000 words. If I can continue every day then surely it will improve, the quality will improve. I have to remind myself, if I can write one article like this every day then my procrastination will be gone.

As I've already stated at the very beginning, you have to want it from your heart. If you want it, then you'll become successful; if you don't want it from your heart, then it will become very difficult for you to achieve. I've also said that no matter how many motivational posts you read or videos you watch, it will be useless if you're not serious about your dream.
